作为8位单片机C500系列的新成员，C505CA提升了该系列的应用范围，提供在片集成 2.0B full CAN。C505CA可以满足现今不断增长的对拥有高性能的小控制器的需求。优化的EMC特性和分散的传感器、制动器与主机之间快速通信。该器件提供32KByte OTP或16/32 Kbyte ROM, 256 Byte RAM, 1KByte XRAM, 2.0 B full CAN, 一个异步/同步串行接口和一个高精确10位ADC集成在芯片上。在20MHz 外部时钟速率时，C505CA具有300 ns的指令执行时间。C505CA的典型应用是汽车和工业控制。
